The Planned Parenthood education team has created many award-winning sex ed curriculums – one of the most successful has been LiFT, which stands for Linking Families and Teens. LiFT’s goal is to reduce unplanned pregnancies by increasing family connectedness and youth self-efficacy. The course covers a variety of topics ranging from condom use to communication skills.
On Saturday, October 2, in lieu of a national Women’s March, hundreds of cities and towns – both rural and urban – across the country gathered in person or virtually for the Rally for Abortion Justice, largely spurred by SB 8 in Texas, and the upcoming fight to defend Roe v. Wade.
