Applying for an Open Position

When the candidate applies for an open position, they will be prompted to create a log in via Dayforce. If the candidate meets the minimum qualifications, they can expect a response within 3-5 business days.

Phone Screening

Candidates are contacted by one of our Talent Acquisition Specialists and a phone screen (mobile call) will be scheduled. This screening usually lasts 20-25 minutes. During this time job responsibilities, schedules, benefits, and salary will be discussed. If the position is part of a union contract, union wages and dues will be covered.

From here, the hiring manager will reach out via email and/or telephone to schedule an in person, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams interview. Sometimes, scheduling can take 3-5 business days, depending on the hiring manager’s schedule and availability. Interviews are usually about one hour and often include a panel of 3-5 staff members.

The next step is checking a candidate’s references and background. When a candidate makes it to this step, they will be contacted by the Talent Acquisition Specialist via email and sent a link from SkillSurvey and HireRight. References contact information is input by the candidate, and then references are contacted within 48 hours (about 2 days).

Statement on Equity & Inclusion

We seek to go above and beyond being an Equal Opportunity Employer and are working to build an equitable and inclusive organization and workplace.

In order for us to have full control over our sexual and reproductive lives, we must work to end oppression and promote human rights. Racism deeply impacts the health and wellbeing of our communities, compounding existing disparities and creating intersectional barriers. We strive to name and address these barriers through community engagement and assessment, relevant and effective policy creation, and organizational accountability methods. We support initiatives that address all forms of oppression, however, maintaining an explicit focus on race is essential to advancing equity across our communities. Improving outcomes for people of color will improve outcomes for everyone.
