Professional Development

We’re helping adults who work with youth gain the skills, experience, and knowledge to support this generation’s sexual health and education needs.

Capacity Building for Teachers and Professionals

We believe sex education should be age appropriate, sex-positive, LGBTQ+ inclusive, culturally responsive, medically accurate and trauma-informed.  Our capacity building specialists and Spark*ED online training program can provide professional development trainings for:

  • Educators, administrators, and counselors
  • Youth-serving professionals
  • Social workers/counselors

Training & Technical Assistance

We're committed to supporting professional development within the sex educator community by providing new and innovative training, tools, and resources to enhance folks’ abilities to deliver comprehensive and high-quality sex education. All training materials are created with a social justice and racial equity lens and incorporate the latest information and research in sexual health, gender, adolescent development, and behavioral change.
