Rebecca Gibron, CEO

“It’s about ensuring that all people have access to the care they need to control their futures and live their full lives as their best selves.”

We serve 100,000 patients annually, in 35 health centers across 6 states: Alaska, Hawai’i, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, and Washington.

About Rebecca

Once a Planned Parenthood patient as a teenager, Rebecca Gibron is now CEO of Planned Parenthood’s largest geographic affiliate serving more than 100,000 patients every year at 35 health centers in 6 states: Alaska, Hawai’i, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, and Washington (also known as PPGNHAIK).

As a mother and grandmother from Idaho, Rebecca brings a forthright and pragmatic approach to Planned Parenthood’s mission. Fiercely determined to loudly defend our patients’ bodily autonomy and freedoms in the face of draconian attacks, Rebecca’s vision for PPGNHAIK focuses on sustainability, expansion and growth in all six states. With patients as our north star, Rebecca is committed to delivering on Planned Parenthood’s promise of safe and affordable reproductive health care for every body without judgment, without fear, without fail.

Rebecca’s 26 years of experience at Planned Parenthood includes serving as President and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Idaho, as well as Director of Finance, Chief Administrative Officer, and Chief Operating Officer of PPGNHAIK.

Soon after she became Idaho’s CEO in 2005, Rebecca launched one of the nation’s top abortion residency training programs at Planned Parenthood of Idaho. They trained dozens of abortion providers until Idaho patients lost abortion access in 2022. As Director of Finance, and then as COO and CAO, Rebecca established PPGNHAIK’s financial sustainability to keep our health centers open in all 6 states while we weather extremists’ political attacks. Since Rebecca became CEO, PPGNHAIK has increased patient equity and access through a new telehealth program, serving nearly 10,000 telehealth patients in 2022 alone.

Planned Parenthood isn’t backing down.

We will expand, we will grow, and we will never give up the fight for our patients to have access to birth control, vasectomies, gender affirming care, and yes abortions. We provide care, no matter what.
