Christine has worked extensively in matters involving health care providers of all types, including health care facilities and services, nursing facilities, hospice providers, hospitals, physicians, nurse practitioners, rural health clinics, laboratory providers and federally qualified health care centers in the areas of health law, regulatory and corporate compliance, fraud and abuse, and state regulatory matters including certificate of need and licensing.

She has experience in day-to-day counseling regarding compliance, reimbursement matters, employment issues, preparation and review of provider contracts, insurance risk and loss, revising and developing new policies and procedures, enhancing communications with governmental entities; and preventing, detecting, responding to, and resolving conduct that does not conform to applicable laws and regulations while maintaining and enhancing the overall the quality of care.

Christine has also written and spoken on new and emerging issues in health care regulation, including compliance programs and codes of conduct, electronic medical records, and health care reform.

She lives in Lexington, Kentucky with her husband and their three dogs (Starbuck, Apollo and Athena). When she has free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking or picnicking, yoga, cooking, writing and traveling.
