The U.S. Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe V. Wade created confusion for people across the country. We needed to make sure that everyone in San Diego, Riverside, and Imperial counties knew that abortion is still safe and legal in California.
After the U.S. Supreme Court Struck down the constitutional right to an abortion on June 24 thousands of people came out to candle light vigils in San Diego, Riverside, Palm Springs, and Imperial Valley. In this time of anger, sadness, frustration, and heartbreak we each process and grieve in our own way. But we all know one thing to be true: This won’t stop us. We are the majority and we aren’t going anywhere.
