Planned Parenthood of Northern New England offers several programs and funds to make your visit more affordable or free.

Family Planning programs - covers birth control, STD testing, pregnancy testing, and more:

Abortion Funding
The Laura Fund is our abortion funding program. It helps patients who have decided to end their pregnancies, but can't afford the procedure. Funding is primarily available to patients who are scheduled at one of our health centers, or for our patients who must be seen at an outside office for care. To schedule an appointment for abortion care and discuss eligibility for financial assistance, please call 866-476-1321. If you have questions about whether you qualify for financial assistance for your scheduled abortion, please call our funding team 802-821-4660.

Cancer Screening Access Fund
When abnormal cervical cancer cells are detected, additional tests or procedures, like a colposcopy, may be recommended. Our Cancer Screening Access Fund provides funding to people who need these important follow up procedures but may not be able to afford them. Gender-Affirming Care Fund

Our Gender-Affirming Care Fund provides high-quality, non-judgmental care to transgender and gender non-conforming patients, regardless of ability to pay.  Many private and federal insurance programs do not include coverage for gender-affirming care, which is why we started this fund in 2017, as a way to reduce the barriers to care. We offer gender-affirming care services, including gender-affirming hormone therapy, at all of our health centers. Sliding Fee Scale

If you don't qualify for any of the programs or funds listed above, you may still be able to get a discount on your visit through our sliding fee scale. We take into account your household size and income and adjust accordingly. The sliding fee scale is available at all of our health centers in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.  Call 1-866-476-1321 to get an estimate of your visit.

BlueMail
BlueMail is our birth control by mail program. We can ship birth control medication and supplies directly to your home. Available for patients in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.
