Vickie Barrow-Klein is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Planned Parenthood Federation of America. She comes to Planned Parenthood with over 25 years of experience in strategic corporate operations, with nearly 20 of those years spent serving in a financial role within the international NGO sector. Throughout her career, she has enjoyed a reputation for mentoring staff as an accomplished leader, expertise in change management, and a proven track record of providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure an organization’s financial soundness.
Prior to starting with PPFA in 2018, Vickie served as the CFO for Management Sciences for Health (MSH). At MSH, she worked with the CEO, COO and Board to strategically lead the organization of more than 2,500 employees, over 40 offices and revenues near $300 million.
Prior to MSH, Vickie served as CFO for two of the largest international humanitarian and relief organizations in the US—CARE USA and Save the Children Federation, where she led finance, information technology, grants, and contracts. She has also led financial operations at Population Council and the Peace Corps. She grounded her career in the management consulting practice at PwC serving both private sector and government clients.
Vickie received her Masters of Business Administration from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA and her undergraduate degree from George Washington University in Washington, DC. She served on the boards of the Partnership for Supply Chain Management, InsideNGO, NetHope, Inc., and Access Africa Fund.
