Vickie Barrow-Klein serves as executive vice president and chief operating officer of PPFA, PPAF and their subsidiaries. Vickie joined PPFA in 2018 as CFO and became COO in 2022. She oversees the operations division through strategic leadership, coordination, management, and communications.  She came to Planned Parenthood after more than 25 years in the international development non-profit sector with experience working in complex federated organizations at a global scale. Throughout her career, she has enjoyed a reputation for mentoring staff as an accomplished leader, expertise in change management, and a proven track record of providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure an organization’s operational soundness.

Prior to joining PPFA, Vickie was executive vice president and chief financial officer for MSH, a large international public health organization. She also served as CFO for two of the largest international humanitarian and relief organizations in the US—CARE USA and Save the Children Federation. Vickie holds a BS from George Washington University, an MBA from George Mason University, and serves on the board of the Global Health Council, a coalition of international actors that advocates for priorities in public health policy.
