Kim Custer is executive vice president and chief federation engagement and impact (FEI) officer at Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA). She leads the new FEI organizational unit, which is dedicated to ensuring Planned Parenthood’s locally operated affiliates have access to critical support to accomplish their mission. The FEI team’s work includes accreditation, strategic programming investments, affiliate leadership support, sex education, learning design, employee engagement, data analytics, research, emergency preparedness and response, and risk management. 

Kim joined PPFA as the executive vice president for health care, responsible for also overseeing the national office’s support of affiliate health care delivery and operations. Prior to joining PPFA, she served as president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Keystone and as vice president at Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties. Kim has also served in executive and management positions in the corporate sector, including Federated Department Stores and The Limited. Kim has a BS in political science from the University of Oregon.
