Kim Custer joined PPFA as the executive vice president for health care in 2015. She oversees the national health care delivery and operations, research, education, and digital programs in support of PPFA’s locally operated affiliates. The health care division provides the tools, resources, and strategic initiatives to increase equitable access to high quality, affordable health care, and education to advance health equity for Planned Parenthood patients.
With more than 20 years of executive leadership with Planned Parenthood, Kim previously served as president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Keystone, where she facilitated multiple mergers and acquisitions. She also served as vice president at Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties, where she designed the nation’s first online chat program for sex education. Prior to joining Planned Parenthood, she served in executive and management positions in corporate retail. Kim has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Oregon
