Prior to becoming chief equity officer, George Walker joined PPFA as the vice president of diversity, equity, and inclusion in 2018. George is a professional inclusion leader and executive coach with a balanced background of diversity, equity, and inclusion experience combined with closely related functions of advocacy, leadership development, and partnership cultivation.
George served as the director of diversity and inclusion for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. George received his masters of divinity from The Divinity School at Duke University, and his undergraduate degree from Morehouse College. He also holds a certificate in executive coaching from The Georgetown University. Most notably, George was appointed by President Obama to serve on the White House Initiative for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
