Planned Parenthood supporters, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, hosted the awards with a funny, feminist swagger. While there were definitely some winners and losers at the Golden Globes this year, one thing is certain – women ruled the show. Not only did this year’s award show bring us an onslaught of female nominees and winners, but among the glitz and glamour were authentic moments of empowerment.

 

From the infamous George Clooney zing heard around the world to Tina Fey’s joke crushing beauty standards for women, the show was made up of one great moment for women after another.
