On Saturday, October 2, 2021, supporters in our region will join marches happening throughout the country in support of reproductive rights. We're coming together to fight back against all attempts to ban and restrict access to abortion and reproductive health care, including SB 8, the 6-week abortion ban that has severely limited access to safe abortion care in Texas. Join us and support reproductive freedom for all.

This year is set to be the most hostile legislative year for reproductive health and rights since Roe v. Wade was decided fifty years ago, and we need you standing with us now more than ever. Abortion bans and restrictions disproportionately impact those that already face barriers to accessing care — people of color, people with lower incomes, immigrants, and young people. We must continue to stand up for reproductive rights and access to safe and legal abortion.

We invite you to join us as we fight back against dangerous abortion bans. Check out a list of marches that Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest will be at below. If you want to march with us, just look for the pink Planned Parenthood banner!

Please note that Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest is not organizing any of these actions, as they are being planned by individual community members and other organizations.

San Diego:

Downtown San Diego, starts at 10am

Balboa Park, starts at 12pm

Riverside:

Riverside City Hall, starts at 12pm

Want to join virtually? We'll be posting updates on Facebook and Instagram throughout the day — be sure to tune in! Our colleagues at Planned Parenthood Orange and San Bernardino Counties will also be hosting a virtual day of action you can join from anywhere. To find other events near you, visit womensmarch.com.

We hope to see you there, and please wear a mask to help keep our communities safe and healthy.
