Riverside County has a new health center: Planned Parenthood in Corona!

Corona has over 160,000 residents. Its diverse community mirrors our diverse, talented health care staff.

“I have been looking forward to our new health center opening in South Corona,” said Elizabeth, assistant center manager. “I feel we will provide the much needed access to care for our patients living in this area, and I’m excited that Planned Parenthood can be a part of this community,”

Riverside is burgeoning. It borders the Los Angeles and Orange County regions and has a population that commutes widely between counties.

“Riverside is one of the fastest growing counties in the state,” said Lori Keim, senior director of business initiatives at Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest. “There is such high demand and not nearly enough providers.

“We have an ongoing commitment to ensure we’re responding to this public health need,” Lori said. “We’ve heard from patients, community members, and other health care providers that we needed to be there.”

The Corona health center has been open for just a few weeks now.

“We’re so proud to expand our health center services to those who need us most,” said Lori.
