Ways to Register to Vote - Nevada
The upcoming General Election is on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.
Due to safety concerns during the COVID-19 pandemic in Nevada, all active voters will be mailed ballots that can be completed and then mailed or dropped off in person at county clerk offices.
Registration is open all the way to election day, but if you register to vote after October 20, 2020 you will have to go to your county registrar's or clerk's office to pick up your ballot for voting.
How to register or update your registration:
- Online: You can register for the first time or update your registration online through October 29, 2020. Visit: www.registertovotenv.gov
- By mail: Voter registrations being mailed in must be post marked on or before October 6, 2020. You can find the forms to print here.
- In person: You can register in person at the registrar's or clerk's office. After October 29th, you can only register in person.
Same-day registration is available during Early Voting and on Election Day.
