The California legislature is in full swing right now and Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California (PPAC) is sponsoring eight groundbreaking bills following recent recommendations made by the California Future of Abortion Council.
PPAC is also making state budget requests to fund abortion-access for all Californians while also expanding an infrastructure of support for patients coming from out of state.
The Nevada legislature meets every other year and in not currently in session. The 82nd (2023) Session of the Nevada Legislature will begin on February 6, 2023. Check back then for updates on our public affairs work in Nevada.
