Services for Syphilis include testing and diagnosis only. If your diagnosis is positive, we will refer you elsewhere for treatment.

How Soon Should I Get Tested?

It’s important to get tested as soon as possible if you’ve had unprotected sexual contact, you find out your partner has an STD/STI, or if you think you’ve been exposed to anything.

Testing and Treatment Information

We can test for gonorrhea and chlamydia. If this test shows an infection, then we will provide you with treatment and explain how your partner(s) can be treated.

Counseling and confidential (private) testing for HIV are provided by trained staff who are sensitive to your needs and concerns.

If you are uninsured, you may be eligible to receive financial assistance for your procedure. You can confidentially find out if you qualify by calling us at (412) 434-8971.

If you are eligible for financial assistance you may be asked to bring documentation with you to the health center.

Appointments

You can privately and easily book your appointment online for select services 24/7. For the full set of services, you can call 412-434-8971 to book your appointment. Health center staff can also answer any questions you may have.

The Pittsburgh health center will be closed on the following dates: 5/10, 5/12, 5/24, 5/26, 5/27, and 5/29.
On 5/7 and 5/21, the health center will be open from 11:30 am - 6:30 pm.


In person services are available in Pittsburgh, BridgevilleGreensburg, and Johnstown. Virtual appointments are available through Telehealth.

You can make an appointment online or by calling us at 1-800-230-7526. Our regular appointment line hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30 pm and Saturday 8am-3pm.

Please note that visit types which require a pelvic or breast exam may not be available through telehealth.
