Additional Information

More Appointment Information

You can fill your birth control prescriptions at our health center instead of the pharmacy. Birth control refills are available everyday during our regular business hours. We can also mail your pills right to your doorstep if you prefer! Just give our office a call to let us know if you'd like to come pick up supplies or have them sent to you directly.

We provide educational materials specifically for people with developmental disabilities.

You can come to us for services that don’t require a medical exam. For example, birth control education and supplies; emergency contraception (AKA the morning after pill); pregnancy testing and counseling; STD testing, and testing and treatments for urinary tract infections.

PPWP does not have its own parking lot or garage. We recommend that you park in one of the three nearby garages: one is on the corner of Ninth Street and Penn Avenue, one is the Convention Center lot on 10th Street, and one is the Greyhound Station Parking Garage located at the corner of 11th Street and Liberty Avenue. We are also extremely easy to get to by bus. Check the Pittsburgh Port Authority website to see which bus line is most convenient for you: http://www.portauthority.org.
