PLANNED PARENTHOOD OF SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND CELEBRATES SCOTUS RULING STRIKING DOWN TEXAS ABORTION RESTRICTIONS
Supreme Court of the United States made a landmark ruling to protect access to safe, legal abortion by blocking two unconstitutional Texas restrictions. These restrictions threatened to close all but nine health centers in the entire state that could provide abortion for the 5.4 million Texas women of reproductive age – down from approximately 40 health centers before passage of this dangerous law.

Amina Wirjosemito, Physician Assistant, and Monika Mruk, Nurse Practitioner, to its Hartford health center in order to better meet the needs of the community. The center, located at 1229 Albany Avenue in Hartford, CT, sees more than 4,800 patients annually and is now offering new primary care services to the greater-Hartford community.

June 27, 2016 is National HIV Testing Day and Planned Parenthood of Southern New England (PPSNE) will offer free rapid HIV testing services at select health centers in Connecticut. Rapid HIV tests are quick and simple and can provide results in as fast as 20 minutes.
