Abortion pill (medication abortion) services are available by appointment only.
In the unlikely event that you are still pregnant, you may need another dose of medicine or to have an in-clinic abortion to end the pregnancy.
We’ll also give you after-care instructions and a phone number you can call with any questions or concerns.
Abortion Procedure / In-Clinic Abortion
If your last period started more than 6 weeks ago, we can help connect you to other abortion options in your area.
In-clinic abortions are available by appointment only.
If you take any medicines, please continue to take them normally before your appointment or bring them with you on the day of your appointment.
If you have asthma, bring an inhaler if you have one.
If you plan to have sedation, please do not eat for 6 hours or drink clear liquids for 6 hours before your appointment.
If you desire medication to help make your in-clinic abortion more comfortable, you must have a responsible companion with you to help you get home safely.
When you choose an abortion service at our health center, you may also receive the following: pregnancy test pregnancy dating (ultrasound)
Please do not bring children with you to the health center.
Florida Requirements
Florida law bans abortions after 6-weeks of pregnancy with very few exceptions. If you are more than 6 weeks pregnant, please contact our Patient Navigator at 850-786-2869.
The State of Florida has enacted a law that requires a person to have two appointments at least 24 hours apart to obtain an abortion. The first visit will include lab work, ultrasound, education, and options information, and a meeting with a physician to discuss the abortion procedure. The second visit will include the abortion procedure.
