Walk-in Information

If you need emergency contraception (AKA the morning after pill), you can walk in anytime we’re open.

Patients are encouraged to make an appointment. Walk-ins are welcomed but will be seen based on clinic capacity and urgency of visit type.

More About This Health Center

In Miami-Dade County, a teen who wants to have an abortion without notifying a parent must visit the courthouse at 155 NW 3rd Street, Room 4319, in Miami. At the courthouse, the teen will be introduced to a case manager and a lawyer who will help fill out the paperwork, and a hearing will be arranged before a judge. You can always come to us for care. We have affordable payment options at most health centers, but at: Prevention Park Family Planning, Center for Choice, Spring, Southwest, Stafford, Northwest, Northville, New Orleans and Baton Rouge payment is due up front.

Payment Options

Most health insurance plans now cover prescription birth control, annual wellness exams, and HIV and STD screenings with no copay, and many other services with some copay required. Contact your health insurance company directly to confirm that the services you need are covered and what, if any, out of pocket costs you are required to pay.

More Appointment Information

We’re unable to provide childcare at our health center. For safety reasons children need to be accompanied by an adult when they’re in the waiting room. Only infants can accompany you to the exam room. Please bring a friend or family member to be with your children if you don’t have childcare at home.

You can fill your birth control prescriptions at our health center instead of the pharmacy. Pill pick ups are available during open hours.

You can come to us for services that don’t require a medical exam. For example, birth control education and supplies; emergency contraception (AKA the morning after pill); pregnancy testing and counseling; STD testing, and testing and treatments for urinary tract infections.

Coming from the South I-95 North Take Exit 11 on NW 151 St. Make a left on NW 6 Ave. and continue to NW 161 St. Building is on right side.
