Planned Parenthood believes in taking care of the whole person, so we’re now offering quality and affordable therapy for our patients.  Therapy sessions provide you with the tools and self-confidence you need to cope with everyday life stressors.  

Mental health care, like all health care is discreet and confidential. Our team is dedicated to preserving your privacy and your information will be protected by patient-provider confidentiality laws. 

Our Counseling Approach 

Our care is centered on you. We respect the person you are and will support your healing in a non-judgmental, confidential and collaborative setting. You’ll be guided by a therapist who will equip you to handle everyday life challenges and help you reach a more fulfilled life. 

Our mental health services are currently available for waitlist only. 

Our dedicated mental health team is committed to providing every patient with high-quality care tailored to their individual needs. Due to high demand, we currently have a minimum wait time of 4–8 weeks for our therapy services. To join waitlist please call us at 626-798-7166. My approach as a therapist is affirming, collaborative, and strengths-based. I focus on providing a judgement-free space for each and every client to work on their personal goals.   My hope is that I am providing a therapeutic relationship where the client never feels alone in the process. 

As a therapist I work with clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, family issues, and who want to build a life worth living. My approach is influenced by my background in community mental health along with utilizing the modality that best fits each individual and their goals. I provide affirming and strengths-based counseling to all clients regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, ability, or identity. 

By working with a together we will be able to strengthen your coping skills, build stronger and healthier relationships, and build the life you want.

I provide human-centered, strengths-based, somatic, relational and harm reduction therapy.  

I have been working in community focused spaces both grassroots and non-profit for over 6 years in different roles and capacities.  I believe in whole-person therapy and spend time with my clients exploring the various nuances of their lived experiences with compassion, humility and patience; while always honoring the ways in which systems of oppression have played a role in our healing and self-care.

I have a background in working in community mental health for over 5 years. I have worked with families, adults, children and adolescents experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety and challenges with adjustments.  Working in mental health with various individuals and populations, I am committed to creating supportive environments to help individuals feel heard and valued. My background includes supporting individuals processing challenging experiences and finding their unique voice throughout their healing journey.

I believe in using a culturally sensitive lens with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to create a safe space for you to explore your thoughts and your unique experiences. My approach is rooted in compassion, connection and  inclusivity.  I believe every individual’s story is significant, and I’m here to listen and guide you through your experiences with empathy. FAQ

How much does a session cost? 

Our Front Office Specialists can provide you with an estimate based on your insurance coverage. For those paying out of pocket, our sliding scale rates vary from $25-85 dependent on a financial screening.

How long are therapy sessions?

Each session typically averages 50 minutes. 

When/how often are appointments? 

Sessions are typically weekly and we are currently offering services up to 6 months at this time.  Sessions are scheduled M-F between the hours of 8-5pm.

I’m a minor, can I receive mental health services? 

We are able to see patients 13 and up. California law also allows minors 12 and older to access services without parental consent if notifying the parent/caregiver causes a safety concern or treatment concern. 

I’m on another person’s insurance plan (example: a parent or partners insurance) will they find out? 

 If you are covered under another person’s health plan in California, like your parents or your spouse, your insurance company may send payment information about your visit to your home address. However, you may request that your health insurance plan ensure your health information stays private and secure using a Confidential Communication Request to keep your visit private.

Are therapy sessions only offered in English? 

At this time yes, however our goal is to expand language services.

Do I have to live in California to receive care? 

Patients must be in California to receive therapy services.
