Education and Community Services

Planned Parenthood Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley is a trusted provider of sexual health services and education in the community.

We believe that all people deserve honest, medically accurate information about sexual health to help them form mutually respectful relationships and stay healthy. Our education team provides education on sexual health topics in a wide variety of community settings, including: schools, colleges/universities, parent groups, foster care settings, recovery centers, and other community-based organizations. Our goal is to foster understanding about human sexuality and educate youth and adults about their right to health care. Our programs are interactive, trauma-informed, and include the most current and up-to-date information.

At Planned Parenthood, we believe parents, guardians, and other caregivers should be the primary sexuality educators for their children. Need help having these conversations? Our Let’s Talk workshops and programs are designed to equip parents and caregivers with the knowledge and tools to have honest, medically accurate and age-appropriate conversations with youth of any age. We provide parent and caregiver education in a variety of settings, including community organizations, community centers and schools. All workshops and programs are offered in English or Spanish.
