Telehealth provides patients with "face-to-face" appointments where you meet online through video with one of our Planned Parenthood providers. For Telehealth appointments, you don't need to come into the health center for the visit – you'll be connecting from separate locations via a computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. You must be in the state of California during your telehealth visit. We have launched a new telehealth software that is convenient and easy!
Telehealth Appointments
Once you schedule an appointment online or with our contact center, you will receive a series of text and emails to confirm your appointment, to remind you of the upcoming appointment, and to provide you with the link to click on to join your visit.
- Please plan to join the visit up to 15 minutes ahead of time to complete the intake questions and review PPPSGV’s consent forms. You will be asked to upload a copy of your photo ID and your insurance card, if applicable.
- We request payment in full at the time of your visit. Credit card information will be collected and payment will be processed at the end of your visit, if applicable.
- If you need a translator for your visit please advise the health center staff at the beginning of the visit. Our team of medical providers speak or can offer translation services in the following languages: Spanish, Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), Korean, Vietnamese, Armenian, and more!
- If following your visit you need to get an injection, pick up medication or leave specimens for lab testing, we will schedule you a time to come into a health center.
