Planned Parenthood of Illinois offers a variety of payment options for health services.

We accept the following forms of insurance:

Our dedicated team of Enrollment Specialists is available year-round to assist you with various healthcare coverage options. We can help you sign up for Medicaid at any time for services including abortion care

If you don’t qualify for Medicaid, we can help you sign up for health insurance through the ACA Marketplace also known as Obamacare. Learn more here.

We also accept cash, money orders, check card/debit card and all major credit cards (AMEX, Visa, MasterCard and Discover). Health Centers do not accept checks at time of service. Payments are due within 30 days of receipt of bill.

Please do not make payment prior to services.

Please make sure your statement is from Planned Parenthood of Illinois prior to making payment.

PPIL will bill primary and secondary insurance carriers on your behalf so it is important to keep us informed about all health plans.

When calling for an appointment, be sure to have your insurance card and policy holders information available. The insurance information you provide will be verified by the billing and collections department. It is important that we receive accurate information such as policy ID, group number and 1-800 numbers to customer service or eligibility and benefit lines at least 48 hours before your appointment.

For questions about specific charges covered by your insurance, you should contact your insurance carrier directly.

For Your Protection

PPIL requires photo identification when accessing any of our facilities as well as when paying for services with credit or debit cards. Without proper ID, we are only able to accept cash.

Understand that PPIL cannot guarantee confidentiality when using insurance. The actual policy holder will receive all explanations of benefits. Be mindful that if you are a dependent or a spouse under someone else's policy, your confidentiality is not guaranteed.
