Reproductive oppression has and continues to disproportionately affect women of color, trans and non-binary people, the working class, and poor communities. This event series will use the power of arts and culture to spark the dialogue necessary to begin reckoning with Planned Parenthood of Greater New York’s history and reimagining our work with community.
Adult Role Models
Adult Role Models lead workshops for parents and other caring adults on how to talk with their children about sexuality. The workshop series can be held wherever parents gather — at schools, community organizations, houses of worship, and beyond. The Adult Role Models workshops are fun, interactive, and free of charge. Out for Health
Through weekly youth groups, school and community programming, professional development training, technical assistance, and advocacy, Out for Health works to remove barriers, increase access, and create a community in which health and wellness are an accessible norm for LGBTQ people.
Pop-Ups are fun FREE events led by Planned Parenthood’s sexuality educators who engage youth aged 11-21 in games and other interactive activities to learn about sexual and reproductive health. Schools, religious organizations, and other community groups can contact us for more information.
