Project Street Beat's Approach

Our clients include individuals who use intravenous drugs and other substances, are homeless, engage in commercial sex work, or have other circumstances that place them at increased risk for HIV.

We use an innovative, targeted approach to outreach during day and night shifts, concentrating on the places where people hang out. Our teams engage clients and provide services that help them make the transition from day-to-day survival to a safer, healthier lifestyle.

Learn your HIV status and encourage your friends to get tested.

We have launched a referral program in Nassau county! Refer a friend for testing and receive a gift card for each person you refer. For more information about this program, or to get tested, contact us at 1-516-750-2675 or by email at [email protected]
