Equity at Planned Parenthood of Greater New York

Planned Parenthood of Greater New York has begun an intentional process to center equity, especially race equity, in all our work. We invite you to join us in co-creating an organization that aligns with our shared values that everyone deserves to live in a world where people are equally protected, have the freedom to make personal decisions about their body without judgment or persecution, and have the resources they need to be healthy and safe.

Commitment to Equity

Our Statement of Commitment to Equitable Care requires us to turn our lens inward to actively work toward being a multicultural, inclusive, and anti-racist organization where all community and staff thrive, through five strategic goals outlined in our Equity Action Plan. This process will involve all staff and every facet of the organization, and incorporate learning, structural changes, and measures of accountability for demonstrating a commitment and practice around equity.
