Virtual Visit for Abortion Pills

We offer the following virtual abortion services:
Icon showing Abortion Pill is available
Abortion Pill Up to 10 weeks and 2 days

If your last period was more than 10 weeks and 2 days ago, we can still help. Call us for a referral list of health care providers in your area that offer other abortion services.

Qualifying patients can get the abortion pill without having to visit a health center or a pharmacy. With a telehealth visit for abortion pills, you'll have your appointment with one of our trained, licensed clinicians, which may include over secure video. Then you will receive the abortion pills in the mail.

  • Call 1-866-476-1321 to book (this service is not bookable online). You must physically be in Maine, New Hampshire, or Vermont to access this service. In another state?
  • Speak to one of our expert clinicians, which may include secure video. You'll discuss all of your options, your medical history, and have your questions answered.
  • We will immediately mail the medications and instructions to you, if we determine you are eligible for the abortion pill.
This is a private, effective, and safe way to access an abortion from home. Visit this page to read FAQs.

What to expect during your appointment

Your appointment will take about 35 minutes for the entire visit.

During your appointment, a doctor or nurse will discuss whether getting the pills by mail or picking them up at our health center is the right option for you. Please find a private location where you can focus for your appointment. You may use your smart phone, tablet, or computer. Make sure it’s fully charged and that you have good wi-fi/connectivity. Also make sure to give video/microphone access to the virtual visit platform so we can see/hear you.

Your appointment will include the opportunity to ask questions & discuss birth control options.

All shipments will include your abortion medication, anti-nausea medicine, and a pregnancy test.

Post-Appointment Information

We'll follow up with you, if you’d like, within 5 weeks to make sure your abortion is complete and that you are well. In the unlikely event that you are still pregnant, you may need another dose of medicine or to have an in-clinic abortion to end the pregnancy.

We’ll also give you after-care instructions and a phone number you can call with any questions or concerns.

There may be additional charges for lab and blood work.

Payment is expected at time of service unless other arrangements have been made.

If you don’t have insurance and need help paying for your abortion, call us. We may be able to help you with financial assistance. You can also go to AbortionFunds.org for financial help.

Before your abortion, our expert and caring staff will discuss all of your pregnancy options with you to help you make sure abortion is the best decision for you. We’ll also talk with you about your health history to make sure we’re providing the best care for you.

We also offer the following services at this clinic:

  • Abortion consultation

For payment, we can bill Vermont Medicaid, or accept credit card payments. We also have special funds that may help offset the price of your visit, for qualifying patients. Learn more here.
