HIV Services in Queens, NY

Diane L. Max Health Center offers the following services:

• HIV testing
• HIV education
• HIV referrals

• PrEP, a daily pill that can prevent HIV infection
• PEP,  an emergency medicine you can take to prevent HIV if you have been exposed in the last 3 days

HIV testing services are available at this location:

• during all business hours on a walk-in basis
• during all business hours by appointment

Services are available by appointment during all business hours.

Here’s what you need to know about HIV testing at this health center:

HIV testing is done by a blood draw. The results are available in 14 days.

HIV counseling referral services are available.

HIV treatment referral services are available.

Counseling and confidential (private) testing for HIV are provided by trained staff who are sensitive to your needs and concerns.

Results must be given in person.

HIV testing is done by finger stick for a blood sample, with results available at your visit.
