Walk-in Information

Free Pregnancy Testing (but not Fridays), Emergency Contraception, & Birth Control Refill Pick-ups.

Emergency contraception pills (EContra EZ, a generic version of Plan B One Step) are available for sale, without prescription, Tuesday-Saturday, during this health center’s regular hours until 30 minutes before closing time. For the other types of emergency contraception (ella and Paragard IUD), an appointment is required. Every attempt will be made to accommodate you in a same-day appointment. Further information

This health center offers PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis), a daily pill that individuals at increased risk for HIV can take to prevent HIV infection. Get tested and ask about it!

If you need emergency contraception (morning after pill), you can walk in any time the health center is open.

Notes

We will be closed on the following Saturdays: May 27, September 2, November 25, and December 23. We will be closed on the following Tuesdays: April 11, June 13, August 8, October 3, and December 12. Please also see "Holidays" further down this page for additional days when we will be closed.

Insurance Information

Most health insurance plans now cover prescription birth control, annual wellness exams, and HIV and STI screenings with no copay, and many other services with some copay required. You should contact your health insurance company directly to confirm that the services you are interested in are covered, and what, if any, out-of-pocket costs you are required to pay.
