With or without insurance, you can always come to us for your health care. Most birth control, annual exams, HIV testing, and STD testing will be covered for free, with no copay.

Walk-in Information

If you need emergency contraception (AKA the morning after pill), you can walk in anytime we’re open.

Free Pregnancy Testing (but not Fridays), Emergency Contraception, & Birth Control Refill Pick-ups.

Emergency contraception pills (EContra EZ, a generic version of Plan B One Step) are available for sale, without prescription, Monday-Saturday, during this health center’s regular hours until 30 minutes before closing time. For the other types of emergency contraception (ella and Paragard IUD), an appointment is required. Every attempt will be made to accommodate you in a same-day appointment. Further information

This health center offers PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis), a daily pill that individuals at increased risk for HIV can take to prevent HIV infection. Get tested and ask about it!

More About This Health Center

We will be closed on the following Saturdays: February 17, May 26, September 1, and November 24.

We will be closed on the following Tuesdays: February 13, May 8, September 11, and November 13. 

We will close at noon on the following Wednesdays: March 21, April 18, June 20, August 15, and October 17.

We accept many private and public insurance plans. If you don't see your insurance listed, please call us at 212-965-7000.

With or without insurance, you can always come to us for your health care. Most birth control, annual wellness exams, HIV, and STD screenings are covered for free, with no copay. Everyone deserves affordable health care.

If you don't have insurance, you may qualify for a state-funded program or a lower fee scale. If you’re worried about cost, talk to us about how you can get health care that fits your budget.

Payment Options

Most health insurance plans now cover prescription birth control, annual wellness exams, and HIV and STD screenings with no copay, and many other services with some copay required. Contact your health insurance company directly to confirm that the services you need are covered and what, if any, out of pocket costs you are required to pay.

More Appointment Information

We’re unable to provide childcare at our health center. For safety reasons children need to be accompanied by an adult when they’re in the waiting room. Only infants can accompany you to the exam room. Please bring a friend or family member to be with your children if you don’t have childcare at home.
