The people of Pennsylvania have made it clear that they support access to safe, legal abortion. Planned Parenthood Keystone will continue our mission of providing the full range of sexual and reproductive health care and sex education. Above all else, we want patients to know that abortion remains legal in Pennsylvania.

Today, Planned Parenthood Keystone marked a return to Lancaster with the opening of its new center on Manor Street. Planned Parenthood Keystone’s return to Lancaster is a significant milestone for South Central Pennsylvania and will expand sexual and reproductive health care and sex education in the community.

Today the Pennsylvania Legislature moved one giant step closer to stripping Pennsylvanians of their fundamental rights by passing a proposed amendment to the state constitution banning abortion.

Planned Parenthood Keystone has been planning for this moment. We’ve expanded abortion access in our health centers and now offer abortion via telehealth and by mail. We are growing our abortion assistance fund to ensure that patients can access care, no matter their ability to pay.

Planned Parenthood Keystone (PPKeystone) now offers support for LGBTQ+ youth, ages 10-14 years old, through its new program, Roy G. Biv.

The leaked draft opinion is horrifying and devastating and makes clear that our deepest fears are coming true.  But let’s be clear, abortion is still legal. 

Planned Parenthood Keystone announced today that it is the recipient of a $7.5 million dollar donation. We are eternally grateful to MacKenzie Scott and are committed to using these resources to ensure our patients continue to receive the equitable, expert, and compassionate health care they deserve.
