Appointment required to reserve your spot.

What to Expect

Free Breast Exam:

Our experienced health care professionals will provide a free breast examination to help you maintain breast health and detect potential issues early.

Pap Smear:

Ensure your overall reproductive health with a free pap smear, an essential part of your well-being. If needed, we can also provide a colposcopy – a test that screens for cervical cancer – as a follow up to any abnormal pap smear results.

Education:

Our clinicians will offer vital information about breast cancer prevention, early detection, what to know about abnormal breast exam results, and breast self-examination guidance.

Support and Resources:

Our experts can share valuable resources, including breast health literature, support groups, and guidance on maintaining your well-being.

Recommendations :

  • The National Comprehensive Cancer Network continues to recommend clinical breast examination at intervals of 1–3 years for asymptomatic, average-risk women aged 25–39 years and annually for asymptomatic, average-risk women aged 40 years and older.

  • The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommends pap smears every three years.

Early Detection Saves Lives

Early Detection Saves Lives

"On Mother's Day 2017, Joss Whedon posted an amazing video in support of Planned Parenthood. His video, "UNLOCKED," encouraged me to do my first breast self-exam. That video and Planned Parenthood saved my life. I found a lump and underwent a check at my local Planned Parenthood health center. They confirmed what I had found and referred me to a doctor who found stage 2 breast cancer."

Wear Pink and Show Your Support

Together, we can make a difference in the fight against breast cancer. Join us on October 2 for a day of health, awareness and solidarity by wearing pink and sharing your photos on social media with the hashtag #PinkProjectAwareness.

At Planned Parenthood of South, East and North Florida, we are committed to promoting women's health and raising awareness about breast cancer.
