LIGHT Alumni Network

Welcome to the LIGHT Alumni Network

The LIGHT Alumni Network is a community of passionate individuals who have graduated from the Leaders Igniting a Generation of Healthy Teens (LIGHT) program. Our mission is to promote informed decision-making and empower young people with the knowledge and skills to make choices about their sexual health and overall well-being.

What We Offer:

1. Mentorship:

LIGHT alumni have the opportunity to become mentors, guiding current LIGHT program participants on their journey to becoming peer educators.

2. Community Outreach:

We actively advocate for comprehensive sexual health education in schools, communities, and at the policy level. Our alumni engage in initiatives, workshops, and campaigns to raise awareness and promote informed decision-making.

3. Generation Action: College Campus:

For alumni currently enrolled in college, Generation Action provides a platform to advocate for sexual health education on college campuses. This includes peer education, campus advocacy, and outreach to college communities.

Why Join the Network:

Impact:

Your involvement can make a significant impact in the lives of young people. By sharing your knowledge and experiences, you empower the next generation.

Personal Growth:

Mentoring and advocacy opportunities offer personal and leadership growth, enhancing your skills and enriching your own journey.

Change:

By advocating for comprehensive sexual health education, you contribute to creating a culture of informed, healthy decision-making in communities and on college campuses.
