We're here to help...

Planned Parenthood provides a safe place for teens to come for health care and medically-accurate sexuality education.

Teens 18 and under can come to any of our health centers for several reproductive health care services at no cost.

Call our teen services line to make an appointment: 1.800.869.4104

Remember:

When you're at a Planned Parenthood health center, there’s no such thing as a stupid question. We’ve heard it all! Our healthcare providers are here to talk with you about your body and ensure you get the care you need. No Matter What.

For teens age 18 and under, services include:

Birth Control

Options include one year supply of birth control pills at no cost or your first Depo-Provera injection at no cost. The depo shot is an injection you get once every 3 months. It’s a safe, convenient, and private birth control method that works really well if you always get it on time.

STD/STI Testing and Treatment

Testing and treatment for STD/STIs including Gonorrhea, Chlamydia and Syphilis

Pregnancy Testing

A pregnancy test can give you the knowledge to help you take whatever next steps are best for you.

HIV Testing

Getting tested is the only way to find out if you have HIV.

Sexuality Education

Gain the information, skills and motivation you need to make healthy decisions about  sex and sexuality.

Intimate Partner Violence

You deserve to feel safe in your relationship. Emotional, verbal, or physical abuse is not your fault.  Recognize the signs of an unhealthy relationship and get help.

Teen Confidentiality

Confidentiality means privacy. Even though you are under 18, your visit at Planned Parenthood and your test results are completely confidential and cannot be shared without your consent.

According to Florida law, if you are under the age of 18, you do not need your parents’ permission to receive reproductive health care. All of our services are confidential, which means that our staff will not tell your parents or guardians anything about the service you receive at PPSENFL.

Even though you don’t have to ask your parents, it’s a good idea to talk with them or another adult you trust about the medical care you need. We want you to be safe! If you have any questions, please ask!
