Education
Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast’s Education Department is committed to improving the lives of youth, parents, and families in Texas and Louisiana through education and training. Our signature education programs provide the skills and support individuals need to make well-informed and positive decisions about their sexuality and sexual health. We also offer workshops designed to help parents talk to their teens and pre-teens and training for agency staff and other health care professionals to build capacity.
Facilitated by professional health educators, our programs are interactive, medically accurate, and age-appropriate. We provide community and school-based curriculum, parent education, and professional training across the states of Louisiana and Texas.
