PPCWs Education Department provides age-appropriate, inclusive, and comprehensive sex education to students in middle school, high school, and college. We also work with community organizations, families, and youth-serving agencies. PPCW’s Education programs align with state health education standards, providing youth and families with tools to make informed and healthy decisions. With a trauma-informed approach, we teach subjects that can best serve the needs of the organizations requesting them.

• More than 8,000 youth and families participate in PPCW Education programs each year

• Additionally, we reach over 20,000 people through community resource events and outreach

Each lesson topic takes at least 30 minutes to cover. Presentations are available to groups of 15 or more. Our community education sessions are taught by trained educators on the following topics:

• Puberty
• Abstinence
• Birth control methods
• STDs
• Condom use
• Healthy relationships & consent
• How to be an Askable Adult
