Oregon Health Plan Members: It's Time to Pick Your Plan!

Planned Parenthood is spreading the word about an exciting opportunity for people who are insured through the Oregon Health Plan (OHP)!

Between October 16th and November 17th, you get to choose a plan that works best for you and your family.

We know OHP members will weigh a variety of factors in making your selections, and we hope that access to Planned Parenthood health centers is one of them. If you want to come to Planned Parenthood or have us as an option for care, choose a plan that includes us as a provider.

Here’s how it works: OHP has local health plans that help you use your benefits. OHP starts by matching you with a plan based on the doctors you see and the care you get. Now, you get to tell OHP if you would like to select an alternate plan.

In making your decision, keep in mind that health plans have a “network” or list of providers where you can use your insurance. Not every health plan will include every provider, so check to see if your preferred healthcare providers are included in the plan you were assigned.

Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette is proud to work with the following OHP health plans:

  • AllCare
  • Columbia Pacific
  • Eastern Oregon
  •  Health Share: CareOregon
  • PacificSource Community Solutions Central OR
  • PacificSource Community Solutions Columbia Gorge
  • Trillium
  • Western OR
  • Yamhill

Contact OHP with your choice by November 17th. Your coverage will begin January 1st, 2020, at which time you will get a second chance to make a change. Between January 1st and March 31st you can try out your OHP health plan and change it for any reason.

To learn more about your coverage at Planned Parenthood, contact your local Planned Parenthood affiliate by clicking on the links above.

You can also talk about your choices and get help by calling the dedicated “Pick Your Plan” phone line at 877-647-0027 (TTY 711) or from a local community partner organization. You can review all the information members have received at the “Pick Your Plan” website.
