Walk-in Information

If you need emergency contraception (AKA the morning after pill), you can walk in anytime we’re open.

Walk-in services are: pregnancy testing, sexually transmitted infection (STI/STD) testing & treatment (gonorrhea and chlamydia only), and rapid HIV testing. Depo-Provera ("The Shot") injections and prescription contraceptive (birth control) supply pick up is available on a walk in basis for current family planning clients.

Walk-in appointments are available daily until one hour before closing.

All other services require an appointment.

If you need emergency contraception (morning after pill), you can walk in any time the health center is open.

Condoms are available for sale during all business hours.

Everyone deserves affordable health care. With or without insurance, you can always come to us for your health care.

I don’t have insurance or Medicaid

If you don't have insurance, you may qualify for a state-funded program or a lower fee scale. If you’re worried about cost, talk to us about how you can get health care that fits your budget.

Get Coverage

Payment Information

You can always come to us for care. We have affordable payment options at most health centers, but at: Prevention Park Family Planning, Center for Choice, Spring, Southwest, Stafford, Northwest, Northville, New Orleans and Baton Rouge payment is due up front. Our fees are based on your household income. Please bring either a pay stub or unemployment documentation if you have it.

I have insurance or Medicaid

We take the following insurance:

  • AmeriHealth
  • Cigna
  • Emblem Health
  • Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Oxford (except for Oxford Garden State and Oxford Encompass)
  • QualCare (only non-inner circle plans which do not have the employer listed on top of the insurance card)
  • and United HealthCare.

We accept many private and public insurance plans. If you don't see your insurance listed, please call us at 609-788-3233.

Payment Options

Most health insurance plans now cover prescription birth control, annual wellness exams, and HIV and STD screenings with no copay, and many other services with some copay required. Contact your health insurance company directly to confirm that the services you need are covered and what, if any, out of pocket costs you are required to pay.

Pills Now Pay Later is available at this health center —a service that allows you to visit us for one appointment and walk out the door with up to a year’s supply of birth control and a convenient, low cost monthly payment plan.
