If you love Planned Parenthood and want to continue coming to our health centers, we’ve got you covered, whether you have insurance or not.

Medi-Cal

Anyone with Medi-Cal can come to us for most of our services. These plans make it easy:

  • Care First
  • Community Health Group (CHG)
  • HealthNet
  • Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP)
  • Molina Healthcare

Learn if you are eligible for Medi-Cal at Covered California. You can sign up any time of year.

Covered California or employer insurance (non-HMO)

Your insurance plan gets to choose the doctors you are allowed to see and the services that are covered.  If you want to come to Planned Parenthood for routine care like birth control, breast and cervical cancer screenings, and STD testing and treatment, choose one of the following:

  • Aetna PPO
  • Anthem
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, POS or EPO
  • Cigna PPO, POS or EPO
  • HealthNet PPO, POS or EPO
  • United Healthcare PPO

Many other insurance plans not listed above allow you to come to Planned Parenthood for certain specialty services, like sterilization, IUDs or abortion.

Keep in mind that many insurance plans require you to pay part of your visit costs (as a co-pay or deductible) at the time you receive services.

Covered California or employer insurance (HMO)

Your insurance plan gets to choose the doctors you are allowed to see and the services that are covered.  If you want to come to Planned Parenthood for routine care like birth control, breast and cervical cancer screenings, and STD testing and treatment, choose a primary care physician from one of the following medical groups:

  • Children’s Physicians
  • Empire Physicians
  • Inland Valley IPA
  • Multicultural Primary Care
  • North County Health Services
  • Primary Care Associates
  • Riverside Physicians Network
  • UCSD

Many other insurance plans not listed above allow you to come to Planned Parenthood for certain specialty services, like sterilization, IUDs or abortion.

Family PACT

If you don’t have insurance coverage right now, you may be able to receive no-cost, immediate reproductive health services under Family PACT, depending on family size and income. Learn if you are eligible here.

Not a US citizen or legal resident?

You can still receive family planning care from Planned Parenthood under Family PACT, or pay cash for your services.

Cash, sliding scale and other payment options

Cash

You can always pay for our services with cash or credit card.

Sliding scale

Based on your income, you may qualify for reduced prices on certain services.

Plan Now, Pay Later

Not able to pay for your full visit today? No problem! For most health services you may receive, we are able to set up an automated payment program so you can get everything you need today - and pay it off over a few months. In addition, if you enroll in our payment program, you may even be eligible for an incentive program that could provide you three free months of birth control or free chlamydia and gonorrhea testing.

Not a US citizen or legal resident?

You can still receive family planning care from Planned Parenthood under Family PACT, or pay cash for your services.

Need insurance?

coveredcagraphic.pngNew health insurance options are now available for people without insurance. These new options cover care when you're sick, hospital costs, prescription drugs and other services.  Insurance may be low- or no-cost to you. And you can still come to Planned Parenthood!

You can enroll in Medi-Cal anytime. For Covered California plans, open enrollment happens Nov. 15, 2014 to Feb. 15, 2015. In certain circumstances, you may enroll in Covered California before the next open enrollment period if you have a “qualifying event.” Sign up here for reminders when the next enrollment opens.
