Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood is dedicated to ensuring every individual's right to reproductive health and choice. There are lots of ways to take part in our mission.

Become an activist: Join UHPP at local and regional social justice events and show the power of PINK! UHPP is looking for a group of dedicated activists and advocates to strategically coordinate visibility actions on behalf of Planned Parenthood. We need to stand up for issues that are important to our communities and to show our elected officials how many people STAND WITH PLANNED PARENTHOOD. Contact [email protected] to learn more.

Share your story: Don’t let someone else speak for you.Share your story about what Planned Parenthood means to you. UHPP is collecting stories from patients to highlight the importance of our services in our communities. Click here to learn more!

Speak out through the media: Members of UHPP Voices track coverage of our issues in the local media and on social media, and help keep our issues visible and understood through letters to the editor, blog and Facebook posts, tweets, and more. If you are a writer, a media "hound", have a blog, or simply share opinions or information frequently through social media, contact [email protected] to learn more about this group.

Become an intern or a volunteer: UHPP is looking for committed students and volunteers to assist the UHPP staff in many departments including education, public affiars, development, communications and marketing. Click here for more information.

Become a defender: Sign up as a Defender and we'll be in touch with everything you need to help out at critical moments. Some weeks, we'll ask you to help flood a key member of Congress with calls. Sometimes it might be writing a letter, showing up for a rally, or inviting friends over for an emergency meetup. Whatever it is, it will be what's truly needed, right when it's needed most — and we'll give you the detailed instructions you need to take action. Click here to sign up as part of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund.

Mobilize your campus: Students at many local campuses are working to promote sexual health and responsibility, and to mobilize other students to take action to protect women's health. Click here for more information on joining our Planned Parenthood Generation Action groups!
