Getting Involved with Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood! 

There is uncertainty ahead of us and we are facing renewed attacks. But, one thing is for sure — we will never back down, and we will never stop fighting to make sure that Planned Parenthood patients are able to access the care they need. 

Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood has lots of upcoming events that you can get involved with! Check back with us as this list changes! 

Our upcoming events include:

  • FASO FRIDAY in Kinderhook on Friday
    Join Planned Parenthood and Indivisible Chatham NY together with other local activist groups and individuals for an Empty Chair Town Hall! Supporters of Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood and members of Green River Indivisible and ICNY will conduct a town hall meeting on the Kinderhook lawn just opposite Congressman Faso’s office in the Village of Kinderhook. Join us from  from noon to1pm. Bring a sign to tell Congressman Faso what you care about, or use one of the extra signs that are usually available. 
  • Volunteer Training...Join us for training on becoming a volunteer for Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood. Trainings are held monthly at the UHPP Albany Health center. For more information, contact Nicole C. at [email protected] or call 518.434.5678, ext. 137.
  • #FlightsForRights!
    Do you like to drink beer, hang out with like-minded friends, and talk about social justice and reproductive rights? Come join Friends with Benefits UHPP for a social event to talk about local healthcare, education, and advocacy issues and what Planned Parenthood is doing to protect them. You can also learn about our new program, Friends with Benefits UHPP, and how you can join the fight for our future. This is a FREE event with light appetizers provided.
  • #NastyWomenOfTheNorth
    The Feminist Art Project of Upstate NY is organizing a group exhibition that serves to demonstrate solidarity among artists who identify with being a Nasty Woman in the face of threats to roll back women’s rights, individual rights, and abortion rights. It will also serve as a fundraiser to support Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood during this uncertain time. 100% of sales from artwork will be donated to our local Planned Parenthood. All events (films, performances, etc) are open to the public. Friday, October 27th - Sunday, October 29th.

  • #CiderForProviders
    Wednesday, October 25th 5:00pm at Nine Pin Cider, 929 Broadway, Albany. Do you want to drink delicious cider and support Planned Parenthood? Come join Friends with Benefits for a tour and tasting at Nine Pin. Tickets to the event include a tour of the facility, a tasting glass, cider tastings, and happy hour specials on drinks.Tours begin at 5 PM and 6 PM but tour space is limited, so make sure that you get your tickets early! If you don't want a tour, feel free to come join us for happy hour! Proceeds from the event will support the healthcare and education providers at Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood!
