Getting Involved with Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood! 

There is uncertainty ahead of us and we are facing renewed attacks. But, one thing is for sure — we will never back down, and we will never stop fighting to make sure that Planned Parenthood patients are able to access the care they need. 

Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood has lots of upcoming events that you can get involved with! Check back with us as this list changes! 

Our upcoming events include:

  • FASO FRIDAY in Kinderhook on Friday
    Join Planned Parenthood and Indivisible Chatham NY together with other local activist groups and individuals for an Empty Chair Town Hall! Supporters of Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood and members of Green River Indivisible and ICNY will conduct a town hall meeting on the Kinderhook lawn just opposite Congressman Faso’s office in the Village of Kinderhook. Join us from  from noon to1pm. Bring a sign to tell Congressman Faso what you care about, or use one of the extra signs that are usually available. 
  • Volunteer Training...Join us for training on becoming a volunteer for Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood. Trainings are held monthly at the UHPP Albany Health center.   • #Abortion Access Bowl-A-Thon 2018 Say NO to back alleys, and YES to bowling alleys! Join Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood at Del Lanes in Delmar on April 29th at 2pm to #FundAbortionBuildPower. We're lacing up our bowling shoes and getting to work! Want to show up for abortion access? Support us by making a donation to our team or join the squad! The process is fast, easy, and secure!   • Teach-in 2.0: Fighting Forward: Supporting Cross Movement Issues”  

    On Monday, April 16th 2018 from 6 to 8 pm we will present “Fighting Forward: Supporting Cross Movement Issues” in our Albany Health Center Conference Room at 855 Central Avenue. *DINNER WILL BE SERVED* 

    You will hear from leaders of allied organizations across the region as we examine the importance of solidarity and why it is imperative for UHPP advocates and people who identify as feminists to support cross movement issues. We will learn why solidarity is crucial to the success of progressive movements, how folks can get involved in supporting the mission of our coalition partners, attend any upcoming events or volunteer with our featured organizations. As all of you know, none of us are free until ALL of us are free.  Secure your spot at this important event TODAY!  Monday, April 16th 6:00pm at UHPP Albany Conference Room located at 855 Central Avenue, Albany 12206
