AUGUST LUNCH & LEARN: One year post-Roe fireside chat with UHPP's Chelly Hegan

Tuesday, August 8th, 2023 - 12:00 PM-1:00 PM

Join UHPP for our August Lunch & Learn! It's been a year since Roe v. Wade was overturned. UHPP's President and CEO, Chelly Hegan, will provide attendees with an update on the landscape of abortion access across the country and its impact locally. Folks will also have an opportunity to ask questions about what's next. Attendees will receive the Zoom link via email prior to the 8th.

WHAT YOU CAN DO RIGHT NOW TO PROTECT ABORTION ACCESS

BE LOUD: Share on social media (Facebook and/or Instagram), write a letter to the editor, contact your legislator to let them know you support abortion access for all.

SHARE YOUR STORY to help normalize abortion. 1 in 4 women/people with the capacity to get pregnancy have had an abortion!

HOST A FUNDRAISER for Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood

SUPPORT OUR ANNUAL FUND to protect reproductive healthcare and education at UHPP

PUT UHPP IN YOUR ESTATE PLANS to sustain services for future generations through your will, trust, annuity or other planned gifts

BECOME A VOLUNTEER WITH UHPP. Now more than ever, we will rise to the challenge to continue to provide care for those in our community and we need to let them know that we are here, and our doors are open.

You don’t have to speak out alone. There are several groups supporting solidarity with intersecting communities:
