Professional Training
Planned Parenthood of Tennessee and North Mississippi (PPTNM) offers professional training on a variety of topics including sexuality, sexual health, and cultural awareness when working with youth, people of color, immigrants, and LGBTQ+ populations.
Our trainings and workshops are specifically designed to help participants develop the skills and awareness it takes to be effective sexuality educators and support systems for teens and young adults in the Mid-South. In addition to set training programs offered regularly, PPTNM also provides workshops tailored to your needs. All professional training opportunities are facilitated by experienced PPTNM professional training staff.
Without the training I received through your agency, I would not be able to do something I love! Your trainings are a valuable asset to the city.

Youth Competency Training
In Nashville, the PG-13 Players write skits that tackle tough issues and engage the audience in conversation.
These performances seek to help youth explore options and help skills needed to deal with real-life situations. For parents and professionals, these performances help develop skills in their communication and understanding of issues today’s youth face.
“Thank you so much for bringing the PG-13 Players. The medical students in attendance clearly got a lot out of the presentation and the role plays.”
