Required Minimum Donations (RMDs) and Qualified Charitable Contributions (QCCs)
Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) are a great way to donate to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations you support, such as PPTNM. If you are aged 72 or older, all employer-sponsored retirement plans — including 401(k) and 403(b) plans — are subject to the Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) rule.
Donating an RMD is a Qualified Charitable Contribution (QCD) — you get a tax benefit and support reproductive healthcare in Tennessee and North Mississippi. Required Minimum Distributions must be made before December 31st and don’t forget to include it on your tax return!
