Dayle Steinberg | President and CEO

Dayle was appointed President and CEO of Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania (PPSP) in 2001. She began as a graduate intern in 1978, and became a full-time staff member in 1981. She was director of surgical services from 1986-1992, during which time she designed and implemented PPSP’s nationally recognized program that has since trained more than 200 OB/GYN residents in first-trimester abortion techniques. She then served for eight years as Senior Vice President before moving to the CEO position. Dayle is responsible for the management of PPSP’s operations and for representing the organization to the public. Dayle also serves as Chair of the board of Planned Parenthood Pennsylvania Advocates, and is a board member of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Her recognition and awards include PPSP’s Freedom Keeper Award (2005), the Community Advocate Award from Women Against Abuse (2006), the Community Leader Award from the Council for Relationships (2007), and the Women’s e-News Philadelphia Leadership Award (2012). Dayle holds a BS and an MEd from Temple University.
