PrEP HIV Prevention is Available Near You in Pennsylvania 

PrEP is a daily pill that can that can prevent HIV.  Using PrEP can lower your chances of getting HIV from sex by up to 99%. We offer PrEP at all our health centers in Southeastern Pennsylvania. 

What Is PrEP? 

Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) is a daily oral pill that reduces the risk of HIV infection. This medication is only effective if you are HIV-negative and take PrEP daily. 

Who Is PrEP For?

PrEP is for anyone who is HIV-negative and at risk of contracting HIV from sexual activities or intravenous drug use. PrEP is especially recommended for those with a partner(s) with unknown STI status, an HIV-positive status, and/or individuals who do not regularly use condoms during sexual activities. 

How do I get PrEP?

Make an appointment online or by phone at your local Planned Parenthood health center. Your appointment will include a PrEP counseling session and a HIV test.

If you use it correctly, PrEP can lower your chances of getting HIV from sex by up to 99% if taken correctly. And using condoms and PrEP together helps you stay even safer. PrEP can also lower your chances of getting HIV from sharing needles by more than 70%.
