(West Palm Beach)  Planned Parenthood of South Florida and the Treasure Coast (PPSFTC) announced that two new executives have joined the management team of the trusted health care provider. Lauren Hahn joins Planned Parenthood as Chief Financial Officer and Michelle Fowler is the new Vice President of Human Resources for the agency, which covers eight counties from Indian River down through the Keys.

Ms. Hahn’s career began in public accounting, where she provided a wide range of financial management, audit and tax services before she made the transition to the private sector. Since then, she has held numerous managerial and executive positions in accounting and finance with extensive experience in the software industry, including participating in negotiations and leading the due diligence process for corporate acquisitions and an initial public offering. She recently served as Chief Financial Officer of Apptimum, Inc., a leading application transfer company that was acquired by Microsoft Corporation in
2006. Ms. Hahn received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Rutgers University’s School of Business and earned her Master’s degree in Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University. She is licensed as a CPA in the state of Florida, and has been a member of the Florida Institute of CPAs
since 1996. As Chief Financial Officer for PPSFTC, she directs all accounting and finance functions for the organization and provides strategic guidance to ensure the agency’s goals and objectives are met in a fiscally solvent manner.

Ms. Fowler began her career in banking, and after having progressive leadership roles over six years, left to pursue a career in Human Resources. Over a twelve-year period, Ms. Fowler has worked for several publicly traded corporations, including Ocwen Financial Corporation and WCI Communities, Inc.,
holding progressive roles focusing on a full spectrum of Human Resources leadership. Ms. Fowler graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. In her role as Vice President of Human Resources at PPSFTC, she is responsible for all HR and organizational development functions and ensuring their alignment with the organizations strategic goals and objectives.

PPSFTC has received a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, America's largest independent charity evaluator for six consecutive years. Receiving four out of a possible four stars from Charity Navigator indicates that an organization excels, as compared to other charities in America, in successfully managing
the finances of the organization in an efficient manner. Only 2 percent of the charities rated by Charity Navigator have received at least 6 consecutive 4-star evaluations.

“We are proud to consistently execute our mission in a fiscally responsible way that outperforms most other charities in America,” said Lillian A. Tamayo, President/CEO of Planned Parenthood of South Florida and the Treasure Coast, Inc. “This is a testament to the exceptional skills of our staff and the efficiency of our programs. We are delighted to have two more talented colleagues on our management team to ensure we continue to carry out our mission effectively.”
