WHAT: On Friday evening, January 20th, PPMW will be hosting an alterative inaugural event. The Pink Ball: The Party of Choice will be a night for guests to dance their shoes off to the 80s and 90s cover band called “Take Cover,” put themselves into a virtual reality experience called “Across the Line,” tweet and share their experience from a photo booth, meet others who support the mission of Planned Parenthood in the activity room by playing Big Jenga and other games, and walk the pink carpet.
“The Pink Ball celebrates the power of solidarity and sends a clear message: For 80 years, PPMW has provided high-quality compassionate health care and WILL continue to—no matter what,” said Dr. Laura Meyers, President & CEO.
PPMW anticipates 600+ guests. Proceeds will benefit PPMW which serves the District of Columbia, Northern Virginia, Montgomery and Prince George’s counties in Maryland.
