QuEAST Study Advisory Committee

Researchers at Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts seek individuals to join a Study Advisory Committee for QuEAST, an ongoing study of abortion experiences in Massachusetts.

About the QuEAST Study

The QuEAST Study aims to improve abortion care in Massachusetts by identifying inequities in access to care and devising solutions to help address them.

QuEAST seeks to identify the unprecedented consequences of Roe v Wade being overturned and the impact it will have among interstate travelers who seek to access legal abortions. We use quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to learn about people’s experiences in this new landscape.

We are looking to explore….

  • Abortion care accessibility among abortion travelers to the high-access state of Massachusetts.
  • How to better serve the needs of the most vulnerable abortion travelers, particularly marginalized young people, crossing state lines for care.
  • The health impacts of abortion restrictions and discrimination on reproductive health.

Services such as abortion and travel funds, and hospitable state governments and how they can improve access for abortion travelers who experience social inequality.
