Abortion Access Program

If you are seeking abortion care from another state, we are here to help! PPLM can provide in-clinic and medication abortion to any patient, regardless of their home state so long as they are able to travel to Massachusetts. Our Abortion Access team can assist you in navigating everything from scheduling your appointment to funding your abortion, booking, lodging, and more.

We help all people, regardless of gestational age or medical complexity, who are facing barriers to accessing abortion care.

Here's how we can help: 

Provide information about abortion procedures and offer options counseling

Assist with scheduling appointments at PPLM and other abortion providers

Connect patients with insurance, funding supports, and other resources

Support with securing lodging and transportation to and from appointments

Schedule ultrasound-only appointments at PPLM

Help with navigating judicial bypass for patients in Massachusetts under age 16

Patient Navigation Program

We work with PPLM patients exclusively. How can we help?

Provide referrals to community resources including:
  • Medical and mental health resources
  • Community resources (housing agencies, food pantries, substance use treatment, utility assistance, etc.)
  • IPV and sexual assault support services
Offer trans-competent referral and case management services including:
  • Writing referral letters for gender affirming surgery
