At Planned Parenthood, we believe that sexual health is essential to every person’s total well-being. Young people need age-appropriate access to accurate and comprehensive information in order to make responsible and safe choices. We know that talking to young people about sexual health and education can be hard – that's why we’re here to support you in having these conversations whenever and wherever works best for you.
Our Parent Education department help parents and caregivers gain information and resources which empower them to be successful in their role as the primary sexuality educators of their children. From our award-winning workshops to our Counselling and Referral hotline, we have a resource for you!
Attend a Parent Education Workshop
All of our Parent Education workshops are currently being offered remotely. These workshops are held for 5-20 participants, and we are offering a range of topics, including Conversations in Families, Puberty, Gender & Sexual Identity, Anatomy, and more. Workshops are 60-90 minutes and can be scheduled at a time that works for you.
Check out our Parent Education Tool: Kids-Ask.org ! We understand that parents are the primary sexuality educators in their children's lives, and our aim is to guide parents through questions or topics that may come up – whether it’s puberty, body parts, healthy relationships or anything in between.
